It is definitely not too late to get in on the fun. My son and I caught an adult Isabella Tiger Moth (the final adult stage of the wooly bear) and it laid eggs in the bug jar my son captured her in. I suppose we are in for some fun raising a bunch of them from eggs. I didn't know anything about these creatures until we caught this one. It has sure been a treat. We are going to let her go tonight so maybe she can find another mate and make more cute wooly bears. FYI... the moth is enjoying sugar water. It appears to have a long tube to drink with just like a butterfly. I was told that many moths like to drink flower nectar just like butterflies. It sure seems to be making her happy.

Thanks! This has helped so much within then last couple of hours that I've had my little friend here. Right now all I know is that he likes Iceburg lettuce and clovers! What does it mean when they have long gray strands of hair?

Wow Jeff, now that is quite an undertaking for sure. I'll have a look at my collection to see if I can round up 25 or more different wildflower shots from around the Ottawa area for your app. Trouble that I can maybe see, is that you will already have some of the ones I have, if not all of them. Do you have say, a running list of WF's you already have? Or even a list of the ones you still need, could be helpful, and updated for your contributors we go along perhaps?

Anyway, Thumbs up on this worthwhile project Jeff and I hope to be helping in the near future. All the best brother.
